The club looks to offer both structured coached run sessions as well as social runs, throughout the year. In the winter months (October – March) a social ‘cat & mouse’ style run allows members to test themselves over a set 4.5mile route and work towards improving their endurance.
NB: In addition the clubs BFT Level 2 coach Mark Yeoman, during the the winter period devises a weekly optional run that members can chose to do over the same route or in their own time.
In the summer months (April – September), the club runs a BTF coached track session which helps members to increase their speed endurance so they are race ready. The social run moves to the beautiful river side and has a simple out and back run (25 minutes out, 25 minutes back).

Social River Run:
When: Every Thursday 7 – 8pm 25 minutes out, 25 minutes return
at Xcel Leisure Centre pool in Walton on Thames, KT12 2JQ (Directions). It is an out and back course to Molesey. We set off as a mass start, with the intention that the group will all finish within a few minutes of each other. There is also the option of doing a shorter run if preferred. This is ideal for slower runners who benefit by being chased by faster runners while the faster runners benefit from having others to chase. It’s good fun as well as good training.
